All scientific research begins with observation. People in general might notice a frequently-ocurring phenomena and get together and talk about what they've noticed. If the phenomena become widely acknowledged as a danger or health risk, then it is commonplace for scientists to step in and discover what is causing the problem, and to discover solutions. In many cases, this process took place a long time ago and solutions presently exist.

Do some creative individuals demonstrate increased tendencies of being self destructive? Why?

Like most musicians and writers, HiH artists fill their cds and songs up with their opinions on things, and blog 1 is chock full of our own agendas as well. Blog 2 is your turn. Every now and then I'll come up with a topic that I'm sure every single person in the world has an opinion about, and you are invited to rant and rave, or state politely with succinct grace, your opinion or illuminating anecdote.
